LCS PATHWAYS AND CAREER-BASED LEARNING
At London City Schools we offer a number of pathways that provide opportunities for students to gain work based learning experiences, obtain professional licenses and credentials, as well as earn credits towards post-secondary degrees, while completing their high school graduation requirements. In order to be in the best place, academically, to take advantage of these opportunities, we have suggested academic tracks for students to follow during their time at LMS/LHS. Please use the following links to view these tracks on the District’s website.

College and Career Readiness
To help support the mission of London City Schools, to graduate students that are future-ready, LCS continues to expand our district's College and Career Readiness Curriculum. This curriculum coordinates initiatives that are currently happening within the district, as well as provide students with additional opportunities for learning and growth through YouScience, an online career readiness platform, through our partnership with Tolles Career and Technical Center, through expanded programming, and formalized communication between the school and home.

During 7th grade and then again in 9th grade, LCS students will complete the YouScience self-assessment. This tool uses performance measures to uncover a student’s natural aptitudes and interests and then links these to in-demand and best-fit careers for the student.
For questions or more information, please contact Betsy Dennis, College and Career Readiness Coordinator at 740-852-5705 x3020 or betsydennis@london.k12.oh.us. You can learn more about the district's Career Advising Policy here.
