PERFORMANCE METRICS
Each district school will achieve an attendance rate of at least 94% annually and/or improve 0.5% from the previous year. NOTE: The district attendance rate increased by over 1% to 92.2% for the 2023-2024 school year. During the same period, the percentage of students who were considered Chronically Absent dropped by 5.1%.
Each district school will decrease the number of total out-of-school suspensions annually (compared to the three-year average). NOTE: The total number of district out-of-school suspensions decreased during the 2022-2023 school year by 11.4%.

ACTION STEPS
Throughout the current school year, the district will continue to enhance the system of Positive Behavior Intervention and Support in each district school (i.e. The Raider Way), which will include strategies designed to improve student discipline, increase attendance, and provide numerous safety nets to support student social-emotional needs.
During the 2024-2025 school year, the London Schools City Special Education Department will monitor student progress of the district’s intervention curriculum for special needs students.
By the end of the 2024-2025 school year, all London Elementary/Middle School Special Education teachers will receive additional training in the district's intervention curriculum.
During the 2024-2025 school year, the London City School District will work to streamline systems of intervention to more efficiently track/provide/report student interventions.
