Alana Kramer, a senior at London High School, has accomplished an impressive feat by earning her Associate Degree from Clark State College before her high school graduation. This accomplishment was made possible thanks to the College Credit Plus program, which allows Ohio high school students to earn college credits while still in high school. Kramer took advantage of this program by earning 62 credit hours during her high school career, allowing her to earn the necessary credits to receive her Associate Degree. Kramer plans to attend The Ohio State University and is expected to graduate with her Bachelor's Degree in 2 1/2 years before pursuing a Doctoral Degree in Occupational Therapy.
Kramer's achievement demonstrates the benefits of the College Credit Plus program for motivated high school students. London High School offers 11 CCP courses on campus in a flexible format, much like that of a traditional college course. By taking advantage of the program, students can save time and money by earning college credits while still in high school, making it easier to complete a college degree in a shorter amount of time. Additionally, the program gives students the opportunity to experience college-level coursework and prepare for the challenges of higher education. Kramer's accomplishment is a testament to the value of the program and her dedication to achieving her goals.
