Four London High School Seniors earned recognition at this year’s Kurt Lattimer Aspiring Artist Awards presented by the Madison County Arts Council. Layla Brohard took the top prize in Ceramics, while Makenna Wiggins took home first place in digital media. Both earned $500 for their efforts. Luke Marriot (Ceramics) and Kassie Patterson (Drawing/Painting) earned Honorable Mention Honors and took home a drawing set.
The annual awards honor the life of Kurt Lattimer, an accomplished artist, who passed away in May 2017. Students in each Madison County school are eligible to participate.
