LES Students at OSBA Conference

London Elementary School proudly showcased its STEM Lab at this year’s Ohio School Boards Association (OSBA) Capital Conference Student Achievement Fair, an event that highlights innovative educational programs across Ohio. Representing the program are current Middle School students Cael Shaffner and Jack Bigham, along with high school intern Lilly Gravley, who works with the STEM Lab. Guided by Mrs. Thompson, these students demonstrated the hands-on projects that make the lab a vibrant space for learning, from coding and robotics to engineering challenges that foster critical thinking and creativity.

Mrs. Thompson praised the students for their dedication, noting how they represent the curiosity and innovation fostered at London Elementary. Lilly Gravley’s participation, as a high school mentor, emphasized the program’s long-term impact, supporting students’ continued growth in STEM fields and the London High School's growing internship program. Through its presence at the fair, London Elementary showcased the district’s commitment to creating a strong foundation in STEM and inspiring a love of learning that extends beyond the classroom.
