Mayor's Day Donation

The Fall Mayor’s Day Sale at London’s Shoe Sensation proved to be a resounding success, generating $500 to benefit the London City Schools’ Raider Rack. The proceeds from this annual event directly support the purchase of essential items such as clothing, shoes, and apparel for students in need within the district.

The Raider Rack, which is a vital resource for students, has its primary location on the second floor of London Elementary School. To better serve the entire student community, additional satellite locations have been established at both London Middle School (LMS) and London High School (LHS). Sustained through the generosity of community donations—both monetary and material—the Raider Rack exemplifies the spirit of community care and collaboration. Contributions from events like the Mayor’s Day Sale help ensure that every student has access to the essentials they need to succeed.

London City Schools extends its heartfelt gratitude to Shoe Sensation and Mayor Closser for their support.
