School Board Member Spotlight: Juliet Wendler

Juliet Wendler has called London home for the past 14 years, dedicating herself to making a positive impact in the community alongside her family. She and her husband volunteer year-round as strength coaches for the London High School and Middle School football programs. Their son is also a student-athlete at London City Schools.

Juliet is honored to serve on the London City School District Board of Education, where she values the opportunity to play an active role in shaping the education system for all children in the district. During her tenure on the Board, Juliet is particularly proud of the significant strides the district has made in enhancing safety measures. She highlights the addition of Resource Officer Eric Langham as a pivotal and positive development for ensuring the well-being of students and staff.

In addition to prioritizing safety, Juliet is proud of the district’s fiscal responsibility. Under the guidance of the administrative team, the Board was able to approve well-deserved raises for teachers and staff, further demonstrating their commitment to valuing educators. Juliet also takes pride in the consistent maintenance and improvement of school facilities.

Looking ahead, Juliet is excited to see continued growth in parent involvement, improved attendance, and rising test scores. She encourages every member of the community to find a unique way to support the schools and students, reminding everyone that it takes a collective effort to achieve something incredible.

Mrs. Wendler was first elected in November 2021. She is serving a four-year term that expires at the end of 2027.
