Lisa Reay has called London home for most of her life, leaving only briefly to attend college. Married to her husband Seth, who is also a London High School alumnus, Lisa is deeply rooted in the community where she and her husband are now raising their three children. With one child in each of London City Schools’ buildings, Lisa has a firsthand perspective on the district’s impact at every level.
Professionally, Mrs. Reay works for the Ohio Industrial Commission, where she has dedicated 20 years to processing workers’ compensation claims. Outside of her career and Board responsibilities, Lisa stays busy supporting her children’s numerous sports activities. When she’s not cheering from the sidelines, she enjoys camping, participating in 5Ks, or relaxing by the pool or beach.
During her time as a member of the London City School District Board of Education, Lisa is particularly proud of her role in reintroducing the art curriculum at London Elementary School. She has witnessed firsthand how this program has given students a creative outlet to explore and express themselves. One of her favorite moments was seeing the unique collaboration between kindergarteners and high school seniors.
Looking ahead, Lisa is excited to continue exploring new opportunities for growth within the district. She is committed to ensuring that students are equipped to thrive in an ever-changing world by staying current with educational and technological advancements. Lisa envisions a bright future for London City Schools, one filled with continued expansion and positive development.
Mrs. Reay was appointed to the Board in June 2022 and elected in November 2023. She is currently serving a four-year term which expires at the end of 2027.
Thank you Mrs. Reay for your dedication to the students, staff, and school community of London City Schools!
