In January 2025, the Mount Sterling Community Center introduced Bright Bites, a program designed to provide weekend meals for students in local school districts, including London City Schools. For the remainder of the 2024-25 school year, the center will deliver food bags to London Elementary every other Friday. At London Middle School and London High School, food items will be stocked in the school pantry, allowing students to select what they need.
The goal of Bright Bites is simple: to ensure students have access to extra food over the weekend so they return to school on Monday nourished and ready to learn.
