The Triple A (Academic Attendance Assistance) Program was created during the 2019-2020 school year in an attempt to closely monitor the grades, attendance, and overall well-being of all LHS students. When students are identified as having difficulty in any of these areas, they are referred to the program. As part of the program, students are matched with a teacher or administrator, who helps the student resolve issues that are currently preventing success on an individual basis. Student progress is monitored daily and discussed during regular mentoring sessions. Parents serve a vital support role throughout the process.
The program, which will be expanded to London Middle School for this school year, is designed to provide early intervention before barriers increase and a student becomes more at-risk. The program is one strategy that the district seeks to accomplish its goal of preparing every student for individual success.
