The fourth in a series of community connections events, highlighting the students and programs of the London City School District, occurred on Monday, February 7th. Dr. Kramer and the staff and students of each school welcomed another round of community members, who had the opportunity to learn more about district programs and ask questions of students and staff about their experiences. Attendees not only took a sneak peek at classes and chatted about district curricular programs but also had the opportunity to visit recently repurposed spaces such as the Elementary STEM lab, the middle school maker space, and the high school College and Career Readiness Center and Hall of Fame Cafe.
Over two dozen interested community members and local leaders have taken the time to participate in the tours. Most recently, Senator Bob Hackett and State Board of Education Member, Brendan Shea, who resides in London, were able to attend. The last in the series of tours will take place on Thursday, March 10th beginning at 9:30 am. Parents and community members interested in participating may sign up using this online form or call the district office at 740.852.5700.
