In October, the Pilot Company donated $10,000 to support district LCS.T.E.A.M. programs. The monetary donation helped to purchase eight new 3D printers. The printers have been in constant use since their arrival supporting class projects in Spanish, English, History, etc. in both elementary and high schools. In November, the company doubled down on its donation. The additional donation will allow the district to expand the capability of the printers by providing a 3D printer and several laser engravers.
District administrators and Mayor Closser attended the grand reopening of the Pilot Travel Center, which is located at 1365 State Route 42 NE, to help celebrate with its new partner.
