London City Schools is thrilled to announce the continuation of the highly successful Triple A (Academic Attendance Assistance) Program. Launched at London High School in 2019 and expanded to the Middle School in 2023, the program closely monitors students' academic progress, attendance, and overall well-being. Teachers identify students struggling academically, frequently absent, or showing signs of distress and add them to the Triple A list. School administrators and staff then meet with these students to discuss barriers and create tailored plans for support, monitoring their progress daily and intervening as needed. If students do not improve, parents are involved through conferences to ensure comprehensive support.
The impact of the Triple-A Program has been significant, with over 550 referrals in the 2023-2024 school year alone, resulting in extensive progress monitoring and support for students. This continuous oversight ensures that any negative changes in a student's behavior or performance are addressed immediately, fostering academic achievement and overall student well-being. London City Schools remains dedicated to creating a supportive and nurturing environment for all students, emphasizing the importance of early intervention and continuous support.
