London Students Abroad

London High School students recently embarked on a cultural exchange trip organized by Explorica, exploring Scotland and Ireland. In Scotland, they delved into the mysteries of Loch Ness and visited historic castles. In Northern Ireland, they admired the Giant's Causeway and explored the rich cultural heritage.

This trip provided the students with a deeper understanding of the diverse cultures and histories of the regions they visited. Engaging in various cultural activities and exchanges, the students gained a renewed sense of global interconnectedness. The experience highlighted the importance of cultural exchange in fostering mutual respect and appreciation among diverse communities.

London has developed multiple opportunities for students to "Explore with LHS." Annually, LMS and LHS students can apply to become the district's Jason Argonaut and participate in an immersive STEM research trip. In addition, students in various programs, such as foreign language, STEM, and Fine arts, can travel each summer. You can check out the LHS travel opportunities here.
