London City School District officials recently partnered with the London City Police Department and the Emergency Management Agency of Madison County to conduct a Tabletop Exercise focused on school emergency preparedness.
During this collaborative session, district administrators and safety partners discussed, planned and executed a potential emergency scenario, which included the evacuation of students to an alternate location and the reunification process with families. These exercises are vital in refining operational plans and ensuring the district’s response strategies are tailored to its unique needs.
