London High School has offered a variety of College Credit Plus classes over the past few years as options for students to take on campus. This past year two additional math classes were added, CCP Elementary Stats and CCP Calculus. In the 2021/2022 school year, LHS plans to offer three additional CCP classes, two will be in the Science field, CCP Intro to General Chemistry and CCP General Chemistry, and the other in the Social Sciences field, CCP Introduction to American Politics. These offerings will give students eleven options for college classes while still being taught by LCS employees.
There is a potential for 36 college credit hours that will transfer to any Ohio public College or University for students to complete prior to graduation from London High School. By adding an additional 4-6 hours of online or on-campus coursework, students have the potential to complete the Ohio Transfer Module which satisfies most, if not all, of the general education requirements for their chosen institution.
The eleven CCP courses LHS will offer through Clark State Community College in the 2021/2022 school year are:
CCP College Composition I (ENG 1111)
CCP College Composition II (ENG 1112)
CCP Introduction to Literature (ENG 1600)
